Pune: Amperehour Energy has inaugurated its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility under Amperehour Solar Technology Pvt. Ltd. at IndoSpace Industrial Park, Chakan III, Pune.

The official inauguration, held on July 11, 2026, marks a significant milestone in strengthening India’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing ecosystem while showcasing the company’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, sustainable infrastructure, AI-powered technologies, and long-term growth roadmap.

Located at B700-A, Plot No. D-223/4, Village Bhamboli, Chakan Industrial Area Phase II, Taluka Khed, District Pune, Maharashtra, the new manufacturing facility reflects Amperehour Energy’s vision for the future of energy storage and its commitment to indigenous innovation.

Speaking at the inauguration, Ayush Misra, Co-Founder and CEO, Amperehour Energy, reflected on the company’s journey from a small startup to establishing an advanced manufacturing facility.

“The manufacturing facility has been designed to manufacture multiple enclosure and containerized products while supporting different market requirements.

This facility represents another step in Amperehour Energy’s manufacturing expansion and supports the company’s objective of strengthening domestic BESS production through advanced engineering and AI-enabled manufacturing processes, he stated.

Addressing the gathering, Rahul Shelke, Co-Founder, Managing Director & CTO, Amperehour Energy, highlighted the facility’s indigenous engineering, manufacturing processes, and digital infrastructure.

“We built this facility within 3 months time. We neither had any consultant, nor any material designed outside. Everything that we learned from the last 10 years is here. This is because we learned with our projects, with our production ground, and all that learning came together. And when we worked with our foreign partners, they have given us enough amount of knowledge that we were able to acquire and put that in an indigenous way. I put a flavour of India on it.”

Rahul Shelke further explained that the facility incorporates ERP-integrated manufacturing systems to enable end-to-end quality management, beginning from raw material inspection through final production.

Every production stage records quality data, providing complete traceability and transparency for customers throughout the product lifecycle.

He added that the facility has been equipped with a 5-megawatt test bench, which enables full cycling tests before products are dispatched, allowing performance validation and recording of testing results.

According to him, only one production section has been commissioned so far, while future phases will include additional production stations to increase manufacturing throughput.
